Paradise Q1 revenue, EBITDA drops as machine sales decline


Paradise Entertainment reported a 6.3 percent drop in Q1 revenue, as sales from electronic gaming equipment and systems declined.

Total reported revenue was HK$288.9 million ($36.8 million), the company said in a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Adjusted EBITDA fell 39.4 percent to $31.4 million.

Gross gaming revenue, from the Casino Paradise Kam Pek and Casino Waldo in Macau, gained 0.1 percent to $467.7 million.

Reported revenue from electronic gaming equipment and systems was HK$30.6 million, a decrease of 39.8 percent from the same period the prior year.
