Play’n GO acquires Romanian gaming licence

Table game and slots specialist Play’n GO has been awarded a class two licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office, the company announced on Monday.

The Swedish supplier will now be able to supply its premium content to all online channels for gaming operators in the country’s recently regulated market.

The move to acquire a gaming licence in Romania followed significant demand for Play’n GO’s award-winning content from customers based in the eastern European country.

Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO, said: “This is a landmark day for the company and we are delighted to have been awarded a gaming licence for Romania, a growing market that we have had our eyes on for some time.

“We have a long line of parties interested in our premium, best-in-class content and we can’t wait to see the joy on Romanian player’s faces as they interact with our games for the first time.”
