PLC in talks to acquire shares in Melco PH unit

Premium Leisure Corp is reportedly in “preliminary discussions” with Melco Resorts & Entertainment in order to acquire shares in Melco’s local operating unit which runs City of Dreams Manila.

The announcement was made on Friday by Melco Resorts and Entertainment (Philippines) Corporation to the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Currently, Premium Leisure Corp has an operating agreement with Melco Resorts Leisure (PHP) Corporation, which is a subsidiary of Melco Resorts Philippines, the operator of the casino business of COD Manila.
