PokerStars India to launch April 17

PokerStar’s foray into India is set to officially take place on April 17, 2018, as per an update located on the pokerstars.in website.

PokerStars India, operated by Rational Intellectual Holdings Limited and its India licensee, Sachiko Gaming Private Limited, announced that the poker brand will be live “very soon”, adding that it will be available for residents of India only.

To celebrate the launch of PokerStars India, the operator is hosting a free-to-play tournament with a prize pool of Rs. 10 lakh on April 22, 17:00 IST.

A number of Early Bird Freerolls are also set to take place during the week.
