Ponte 16 and Studio City smoking lounges approved

Only two casinos in Macau have had their smoking rooms approved to start operating in 2019, according to a report from Macau TDM.

The two casinos are Ponte 16 and Studio City, which have been granted approval for ten smoking rooms.

Next year, all smoking rooms will be required to abide by new smoking room criteria and approved by the relevant health authorities.

However, it is understood that only a quarter of local casinos have submitted their requests so far.
