Premium Leisure Corp net profit up 57.5 percent

Belle Group’s gaming subsidiary Premium Leisure Corp (PLC) saw its net profit rise 57.5 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2017, due mainly to strong gaming revenues from City of Dreams Manila.

Said gaming revenues grew 71.4 percent to P695.4 million (US$13.6 million) in the quarter.

Net income for the first nine months of the year rose 94 percent to P1.5 billion.

PLC said the growth was due mostly to the overall improvement in the Philippine gaming market, as well as the increase in equipment lease rentals as a result of higher national lottery and KENO sales of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for the year.
