RGB reports strong fourth quarter on increased machine sales

RGB International Bhd posted an 80 percent increase in profit for the three months ended 31 Dec 2019, reaching RM14.7 million (US$3.5 million), driven by revenue growth. 

Revenue increased 68 percent, reaching RM132.2 million - with much of this growth seen in its sales and marketing division of electronic gaming machines, up 76 percent year-on-year to RM97.7 million. Its technical support and management division also saw revenue increase, rising 48 percent to RM33.7 million.

RGB International is engaged in the sales and marketing, and manufacturing of electronic gaming machines and equipment, machine concession, technical support, and management as well as the service and maintenance of electronic gaming machines and equipment.

The strong fourth quarter also helped to boost results for the 2019 full year, which saw profit up 13 percent to RM40.2 million. Revenue, however, fell 7 percent to RM351.1 million.
