Saipan temporary casino collects $5.6 billion in Jan

Saipan casino operator Imperial Pacific says its temporary casino raked in US$5.6 billion in VIP table games rolling in January 2017, according to a company filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Imperial Pacific, which is currently building the Imperial Pacific Resort & Hotel on Saipan recently reported its temporary casino brought in a total of $32.4 billion in VIP table games revenue for the full-year 2016.

The casino operator noted in previous filings that it will commence a soft opening of its new casino resort “in the first quarter of 2017.”
