Scott Winzeler appointed chairman of Sega Sammy Creation USA

Scott Winzeler has been appointed chairman of Sega Sammy Creation USA, the wholly-owned Las Vegas-based subsidiary of the Japanese gaming machine company Sega Sammy Creation.

Hisao Oguchi, the president and CEO of Sega Sammy Creation, commented, “We have just opened our Las Vegas office last year and this will be an extremely exciting time to have Scott join our team. Scott’s deep understanding of the industry backed by years of experience taking leadership in both domestic and international fields will positively impact our team, and we are confident that his strategic leadership will contribute to bringing sustainable success to our company.”

Sega Sammy Creation, established in June 2013, is a division of Sega Sammy Holdings. Its US subsidiary, Sega Sammy Creation USA, was established in the State of Nevada in October 2016 and it obtained the state’s manufacturer and distributor license in December 2017.

Winzeler spent a long period working for the firm International Game Technologies, and more recently has been a gaming industry consultant.
