Sega video games inspire new line of video slot machines

Sega Sammy Creation has announced that it will soon unveil a new series of video slot machines that draw their inspiration from internationally-known Sega video games.

Hisao Oguchi, president and CEO of Sega Sammy Creation, commented, “Sega Sammy at its heart is a game company. Our main focus is on the entertainment aspect, and this new lineup of titles represent our commitment to bringing new and innovative games to casino floors.”

The company notes that one of the objectives of the new series is “bringing new players to the gaming floor and garnering the interest of younger generations.”

The so-called “Sega IP Series” will launch with two titles at the G2E Asia expo in Macau next month and will expand from there. The initial concepts of the new line were first presented at the ASEAN Gaming Summit held in Manila last month, organized by Asia Gaming Brief.
