SHFL Entertainment completes merger; name change

SHFL Entertainment (Asia) Limited earlier this week announced the completion of its merger with US-based Scientific Games Corporation, and will be subsequently changing its name to SG Gaming Asia Limited.

The gaming supplier, in an open letter on Monday, said the new name is part of “a global rebranding exercise in order to maintain consistency and a common identity between the groups of companies.”

The name change will apply from January 16, 2017 and onwards.
