Silver Heritage appoints general managers to Nepal casino

Silver Heritage Group has announced the appointment of two general managers to its Nepal resort, Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa, covering the hotel and casino businesses.

Brett Model has been appointed to General Manager - Hotel, effective March 1, 2018, while Kevin Wilcocks has been appointed General Manager - Casino. Wilcocks has been with the company since November 13, 2017.

According to a filing from Silver Heritage, Mr. Model joins the company from his role as director of hotel operations at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles (Hotel and Casino) in USA. Mr. Model is a mandarin Chinese speaker with 15 years of hotel and integrated resort experience in Asia.

Mr. Wilcocks on the other hand, is said to have 30 years of casino operations experience in Australia, Asia and Europe, spending the last 16 years in Goa.

Silver Heritage noted in its filing that employees at its Nepal casino are now at 819, with 95 percent Nepali citizens - with a significant number hired from the local province.
