Singapore Pools fixes weekend glitch

Over 88 outlets and four LiveWire betting venues run by Singapore Pools had to suspend their sports betting services and winnings collection over two days as a result of a technical issues, local media reports.

Punters were left high and dry over the weekend, with football betting services resuming only at 6.45pm on Sunday evening. Punters who successfully made bets were only able to collect winnings from Tuesday morning.

Singapore Pools however announced services have recommenced completely starting on Tuesday.

“We wish to update that the temporary service disruption (which affected only sports prize claim service at retail outlets) was caused by a glitch that occurred during a routine system maintenance, and it has been fixed. The service has resumed since 9am 10 Jan 2017.”
