Social services head calls for better protection of gaming staff


Macau Social Services Centre Chief Supervisor Hetzer Siu Yu Hong has called for gaming operators to better protect their employees from addictive gambling.

Siu made the comments during an annual gathering at the Macau Federation of Trade Unions Stadium, according to Macau Post Daily.

Siu said operators should have a clear policy to protect their employees from gambling harm.

The Macau Social Services Centre is a non-profit initiative set up by lawmaker and SJM executive director Angela Leong on Kei.
