Success Dragon chairperson, CEO resigns


After only three months in the role, Success Dragon International Holdings chairperson Ms. Li XueHua has tendered her resignation from the company.

Ms. Li XueHua replaced former chairman and executive director Mr. Carlos Luis Salas Porras earlier this year in March.

According to a company filing on Wednesday, Ms. Li tendered her resignation “due to her decision to focus her time and effort on other business.”

It did not specify any additional reasons for her resignation.

In the same filing, Success Dragon also announced the resignation of its chief executive officer Mr. Jiang Dan, and independent non-executive director Dr. Jia Limin, with effect on June 7, 2017.

Replacing Ms. Li and Mr. Jiang is Mr. Tan Teng Hong, who has been appointed as chairman, CEO and executive director of the company, effective June 7, 2017.

Mr. Tan, aged 41, holds a Bachelor’s degree of Economics, triple majoring in Finance, Banking and Economics from the University of Western Australia. Mr. Tan is a member of the board of directors of Banque de Développement de Guinée of the Republic of Guinea. He also worked in a number of global reputable financial institutions’ offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, engaging in securities research and private banking.

The board has further announced that Mr. Chung Yuk Luk has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company.

Mr. Chung, aged 56, is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, an associate member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate Chartered Accountants (England and Wales). Mr. Chung has over 20 years’ experience in finance and investment.

Currently, Mr. Chung is an independent non-executive director of China Innovative Finance Group Limited.
