Takara Gaming Group secures Korea KTC approval


TGG Takara Gaming Group, provider of gaming platform technology has announced it has secured Korea Testing Certification approval, and has signed a gaming machine operation agreement with Majestar Casino, the biggest Korean casino in Jeju Island.

The partnership allows TGG to increase its brand recognition in the region and enhance its profile as a leader in gaming platforms.

Co-founder and CEO of TGG Raymond Chan said, “Korea is a fundamental marketplace for the Asia gaming and to see our product deploying there in the second half of 2017, is such a great obligation of the contribution we have committed as one of the vital components of our engagement to a market-led strategic management.”

Majestar Casino is located in Jeju Island, and is the biggest casino there. At 3089 sqm, the casino floor offers baccarat, blackjack, roulette games and slot machines.

TGG says the deal will further expand its footprint into the Korea land-based gaming market in the future.

TGG is the creator of HIRO, the industry’s first open source Linux platform design primarily for electronic gaming machines.  Casino operators, game designers and manufacturers can build games using TGG’s GLI-11 certified open platform with a distribution network in over ten countries and gaming jurisdictions worldwide.
