Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment has appointed Steve Wolstenholme as chief operating officer, the company said in a press release.
He will be responsible for overseeing the business and leading the group towards the opening of the newest Manila resort and casino complex targeted for December 2016.
Prior to joining Tiger Resort, Wolstenholme served as president and COO of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada.
“The growing demand for entertainment properties in the Philippines is an exciting challenge and I am honored and delighted to be part of the Tiger Resort team. The company’s objective is to push the boundaries in the industry through innovation to deliver our customers’ needs and wants and this is what I aim to achieve,” said Wolstenholme.
Wolstenholme has been involved in many properties across numerous jurisdictions, including key roles in casino resort properties in Ontario, Canada and a senior management pre-opening role in Macau, the company said.
“We are confident that Steve will lead the organization in making an impact when we open our doors next year. His work and experience shows that he’s not only a strategic and effective leader, but a man with a passion for success,” said parent company chairman Kazuo Okada.
