Tinian looks to CCC for guidance on regulations

The Tinian Casino Gaming Control Commission is requesting guidance from the Commonwealth Casino Commission in regards to regulations in Tinian, in light of a potential new casino investment.

The investor, Bridge Investment Group is developing a 300-room casino resort on Tinian which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2020.

Tinian is also expected to open its ferry service in Q1 between Saipan and Tinian - taking a major step towards opening the island up to tourism.

Ramon Dela Cruz, the Tinian casino commissioner on the CCC said that the Tinian gaming commission has no funding. Tinian Dynasty, the casino of the island, shut down over three years ago.

CCC Executive Director Edward C. Deleon Guerrero said the commission stands ready to assist its counterpart on Tinian.
