Travellers International gaming revenues down sharply in 15Q3


Travellers International, which operates Resorts World Manila, reported gaming revenue of P5.43 billion for the third quarter of 2015 compared with P7.21 billion ($153.4 million) in 14Q3.

The company’s net profit for the period amounted to P465.9 million down sharply from P1.13 billion year-on-year. 

Year-to-date net profit was P2.82 billion compared with P4.01 billion in the prior corresponding period.

The company reported gross revenues totalling P20.43 billion for the nine months ended September 30, compared to P23.25 billion for the same period in 2014.

“The company remains prudent in the VIP segment, while the mass segment and slots volume has been increasing since the first quarter of 2015.”

Table count increased to 305 as of September 30, from 292 in the same period in 2014.
