Venetian Macao, Conrad Macao wins awards at WTA


The Venetian Macao won a number of recognition at the 25th Annual World Travel Awards - Asia & Australasia, held in Hong Kong on Monday.

The Sands China-owned won awards for Asia’s Leading Resort, Macau’s Leading Casino Resort and Macau’s Leading Resort.

The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to identify and reward the world’s best travel organizations. They have now developed into the most comprehensive and prestigious awards programme in the travel and tourism industry and acknowledged as a benchmark of excellence.

Voting for the World Travel Awards is open to professionals in the travel and tourism industries and business and leisure travelers via the organization’s website.

“We are thrilled and honored to have received these prestigious awards, now for the tenth year in a row,” said Mark McWhinnie, Senior Vice President of Resort Operations and Development, Sands China Ltd. “The fact we have been recognized in this way by both the industry and the public endorses the quality and diversity of our facilities and services. At the same event, Conrad Macao, located in Sands Cotai Central also won two awards at the awards show.

Conrad Macao won China’s Leading Conference Hotel 2018, and Macau’s Leading Hotel 2018.
