Ainsworth Game Technology said its North American President, John Bertolone, has resigned to take up a role as executive director at the International Centre for Gaming Regulation at the University of Nevada.
The company said the existing North American executive team will continue to manage the business under the direction of CEO Lawrence Levy.
“We have an experienced North American team in place that continues to deliver positive results for North American businesses,” he said. “I will continue to work and collaborate with them on our strategy to further grow our business in this key region.”
Levy thanked Bertolone for his contribution in helping the North American business deliver strong results for Ainsworth, putting in place a “strong foundation for future success.”
Ainsworth’s business in North America was the best performer in the most recent financial year, with revenue up 8 percent to $114 million, and profit gaining 16 percent to $47.1 million.
Overall Ainsworth announced a 66 percent drop in group profit after tax to A$10.9 million, with revenue dropping 12 percent to $243.3 million.
