Bloomberry Resorts Corp. said it is spending 20.5 billion pesos ($468 million) on its phase "1A" expansion of its Solaire Manila Resort & Casino. Enrique Razon said construction was 40 percent complete as of last month and targeted its opening, previously put at mid-2014, for the third quarter of next year. Razon said the expansion will add 200 slot machines, 65 gaming tables and a 300-room hotel tower as well as a high-end retail area, restaurants, a theater, a nightclub and a parking deck. Current foot traffic at Solaire was put at 15,000 to 16,000 for a "typical weekend" day.
