International casino operator, Century Casinos, which recently acquired a stake in a Vietnamese-Chinese border casino, reported a drop in net earnings in the first three months of 2018, down 57 percent year-on-year.
Net earnings attributable to Century Casinos shareholders was $0.9 million.
Net operating revenue was $40.6 million, an increase of 12 percent year-on-year, while adjusted EBITDA was $6.6 million, down 2 percent compared to 17Q1.
Last month, Century casinos announced that its subsidiary, Century Resorts Management GmbH, acquired a 51 percent stake in a small hotel and international entertainment and gaming club in Vietnam.
The company runs operations in Canada, United States, Poland and England. The company also operates 13 ship-based casinos with four cruise ship owners.
