CNMI shifting powers for issuing casino licenses

The CNMI House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that clarifies and enhances the powers of the Commonwealth Casino Commission, including giving it the power to issue casino licenses, a power currently held by the Commonwealth Lottery Commission. The bill is to be sent to Governor Ralph DLG Torres for action.
