CoP seeks allotment of jetty for new offshore casino

The Captain of Ports (CoP) has written to the government seeking approval to allot a jetty to casino vessel MV San Domino, local media reports.

Offshore casino operator Golden Globe Hotels first filed an application with the Bombay High Court in December to allot a jetty to operate feeder boats for MV San Domino.

The jetty application was originally meant for MV Lucky Seven, but that boat was recently sent for permanent repairs after hitting a sandbar last year in July.

It is understood that MV San Domino has been hired to operate the offshore casino while MV Lucky Seven undergoes repairs.

Golden Globe has told the court that it intends to start its operations this month after the vessel's refurbishment is completed.
