CORRECTED: Star Vegas EBITDA up 20 percent in FY2015

Donaco International's Star Vegas Resort and Club in Poipet, Cambodia, reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $58.2 million for the 2015 fiscal year, up 20 percent from $48.5 million in FY2014.

The casino's financial performance was driven by a 69 percent increase in rolling chip turnover on table games over the 12 months ending June 2015, amounting to $3.87 million.

Gross revenue from VIP table games increased 54 percent to $103.7 million, while revenues from table games and slot machines rose 21 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

The Star Vegas became part of the Donaco group on July , 2015. The property’s results will not be included in Donaco’s unaudited accounts for FY15.
