Cotai openings to boost slot machine demand, research shows

New casino openings in Cotai between 2015 and 2018 will need as many as 10,000 new slot machines, local media said, citing research from the Macau Polytechnic Institute. That translates into about 7,000 gaming machines a year through to 2017, when taking into account the need to replace old slots, the reports said.
