Crown agrees to Colombo design change

 

Crown Ltd.'s planned $400 million joint venture casino hotel will be developed on its original site in Colombo , Sri Lanka, but with a changed design, according to Investment Promotion Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena. He said Crown and partner Rank Holding (Pvt.) Ltd. will build two towers, instead of one, to reduce the impact on views of Beira Lake in line with a request by Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, urban development ministry secretary and a brother of Sri Lanka’s president.
