Fire breaks out at Paradise City casino

More than 280 tourists were forced to evacuate from the Paradise City casino in Incheon on Sunday after a fire broke out on the third floor of the resort hotel, local media reports.

According to the Incheon Fire Department, the fire started in the women’s sauna at around 3:16 pm in the afternoon, taking 200 firefighters to extinguish the fire in 40 minutes.

No casualties were reported and guests were allowed back into the property by 6 pm.

A hotel official said that all guests affected were given coupons for dinner on Sunday and Monday breakfast as well as a free stay.

Firefights are investigating the cause of the fire.
