Focus on emerging markets

Sportradar will once again be in attendance at this year’s G2E Asia in what has been a compelling 12 months for the industry.

With the legalization of the US betting market, Sportradar will continue to focus its efforts on emerging markets across the world, including Asia, which has been tipped by some to be just as opportune.

Onsite at G2E, the company is looking forward to discussions with event attendees, sharing knowledge on how the US market continues to have repercussions on sports gaming worldwide. This will include key learnings from the States that have enacted betting regulations so far and, from this, the company can offer tips and tricks for bookmakers focused on the emerging Asian market.

Its signature solution, Managed Trading Services (MTS), which provides risk and liability management and user profiling on behalf of the operator, has been picking up at a rapid pace recently in Asia, with more and more interest coming from both existing and new operators. MTS is one of the most popular solutions in established markets due to its ability to help bookmakers of all sizes establish and operate a successful sports book.

This will be further explored at G2E Asia, as well as a new marketing and sponsorship solution, ad:s. A key part of their 360 degree betting portfolio, ad:s can enable Asian-facing operators to tap into various above and below-the-line marketing opportunities, both within the region and globally. Ultimately, it provides the tools for operators to develop a recognized brand, reputation and trust.

Sportradar’s Gaming Solutions continue to grow in popularity in Asia too. The launch of the Asian Cup Virtual Football solution last year, for example, generated incremental revenues for client operators. This year, they are set to again add to our rich suite of Virtual Sports Betting offerings, and will launch Virtual Baseball and Virtual Cricket, two popular sports in Asia that continue to show increasing demand.

In other more traditional areas of their live odds and live data service, the company will increase their regional scout network, extending sports coverage even further across baseball, basketball and football, as well as kabaddi, sepak takraw and field hockey respectively.
