Galaxy brings Japanese students to Macau for IR education

Galaxy Entertainment has announced a new three-week program which will bring students from Toyo University, Kyoto Sangyo University, Fukuoka University, and Okura Nikko Hotel Management to Macau for training about the IR industry.

This is the second year for this program, but it is being expanded on this occasion.

The participating students will receive lectures from faculty members of the University of Macau as well as an opportunity to observe operations at Galaxy Macau. Subjects covered will include food and beverage management, hotel management, entertainment, retail services, event management, marketing, and corporate social responsibility.

Galaxy Vice-Chairman Francis Lui commented, “ Galaxy believes in the importance of providing practical opportunities for students from Japan to learn about the integrated resort industry. Supporting local talent development is a key element in the sustainable and responsible development of IR in Japan.”
