Galaxy Entertainment Group has announced it is working with a global expert in hygiene, Rentokil Initial, to carry out high-efficient air sanitisations at various local social service organizations.
GEG recently arranged air sanitisation and cleaning at two local social service centers, Kai Hong Centre and Kai Lung Centre of the Macau Association for The Mentally Handicapped. The sanitization and cleaning took place through the use of natural tea tree oil, which is a powerful, natural disinfectant with a pleasant smell. Built to GMP standards, the tea tree oil indoor air sanitization and cleaning service has uniquely achieved both the ISO 90014 Quality Assurance System Accreditation and ISO 14001 Environment Management System, and proves harmless to the environment while being extremely effective against bacteria and viruses.
In the coming weeks, GEG will extend this service to additional social service organizations including the Rehabilitation Centre for the Blind of Macau Holy House of Mercy, the Association of Parents of the People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau, Fuhong Society of Macau, Escola Caritas de Macau, the Association of Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers of Macao, the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office and the Richmond Fellowship of Macau, etc. GEG hopes to make a contribution to the prevention and relief efforts through the disinfection, provide a safe and clean environment for the service users of our community partners, and curb the epidemic within the community.
GEG has been proactively supporting society in preventing COVID-19 through an array of practical initiatives including subscribing HK$100 million of SME themed COVID-19 Impact Alleviation Social Bonds issued by Bank of China (Macau Branch), donating MOP25 million to the Hubei Province and Macau, donating 1 million masks to the Macau SAR Government, the Zhuhai City Government and the Hengqin New Area Government, and supporting the prevention efforts in the different regions. Previously, GEG delivered prevention items to the Women’s General Association of Macau, the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau, the Fuhong Society of Macau and the elderly users of the Peng On Tung Tele-Assistance Service. In addition, a subsidy scheme was also launched assist local schools and nursery school students. Moving forward, GEG will continue to work together with the community in the fight against the epidemic.
