The Hong Kong government has announced new measures to control traffic flow on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, local media reports.
This includes an online pre-booking system for shuttle buses, which is set to be launched today.
The service would allow travel agents and tour group organizers to purchase shuttle bus tickets ahead of a scheduled trip.
Daily average crossings on the HZMB is estimated to be around 64,000 - with the highest daily traffic recorded so far at 103,000.
Around 97 percent of the vehicles using the bridge are shuttle busses and mini-buses.
