Jimei International announces positive profit alert

Jimei International Entertainment Group Ltd announced a positive profit alert for the first half of 2015.

The Hong-Kong listed junket investor expects a profit for the six months ended June 30, compared to a loss in the corresponding period the year before. The company’s performance is “mainly attributable to the profit contributions from the Group’s newly established gaming and entertainment business since February 2015, which did not have any profit contributions to the corresponding period in 2014.”

In July, Jimei struck a deal to transport VIPs to Cambodia’s NagaWorld casino, announcing that one of its subsidiaries would be promoting “not less than seven” gaming tables at NagaCorp’s flagship casino in Phnom Penh.
