Kangwon Land saw gaming revenue fall in 17Q3

Kangwon Land, the operator of South Korea’s only locals-permitted casino saw a 10.2 percent decrease in gross gaming revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2017.

Gross gaming revenue amounted to KRW376.7 billion in 17Q3, down from KRW419.4 billion in 16Q3.

Total sales revenue fell 9.8 percent to KRW395.1 billion, while net profit decreased to KRW119.0 billion, down 4.3 percent compared to the prior year period, according to a filing from the operator on its website.
