Macau ADR slows down in third week of June

Macau gross gaming revenue month-to-date is MOP 13.5 billion (US$1.7 billion), implying an ADR of 486 million in the last week, said Bernstein in a note on Tuesday.

“As was the case last year, June typically experiences some of the weakest ADR numbers in the 1H”, said the brokerage.

According to the analysts, assuming an ADR of MOP 470-550 million for the remainder of the month, June GGR would be MOP 15.4-15.7 billion, representing a year-on-year decline of 10-11 percent, which is mostly in line with the year-on-year decline in May.
