At the same time, the September figure totaled MOP6.7 billion ($826 million).

MACAU-GGR-SEPTEMBER-2023
Despite the super typhoon that hit Macau at the beginning of the month, which also caused casinos to shut down for several hours, the September tally was up 404 percent from the prior-year period, according to data released on Sunday by the local regulator, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).
Macau's casino GGR stood at MOP129 billion ($15.9 billion) for the nine months ending on September 30th, marking a 305 percent increase from the previous year.
