Microgaming wins Mobile Product award

Microgaming won the Mobile Product award at the tenth International Gaming Awards held at the InterContinental London Park Lane on Monday.

Pioneers of mobile, the company developed the first ever mobile casino software in 2004. Microgaming has since created the largest portfolio of mobile games, with over 350 titles playable across more than 3,000 devices.

In August 2016, Microgaming’s progressive jackpot slot Mega Moolah created the largest ever mobile jackpot win with a staggering €7.97 million  (US$8.5 million) payout. To date, more than 350 online gaming brands utilize Microgaming’s mobile products.

Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, comments: “We are very proud to win the award for Mobile Product. We predicted that mobile would be the future of gaming back in 2004 when we created the world’s first mobile casino software, and we haven’t looked back. The platform is thriving and it is very much the future of our industry, with even more growth to come.

“It is great to receive recognition for our hard work and to be viewed by the industry as having the best mobile product out there. This is the perfect way to start what is sure to be the most incredible ICE Totally Gaming for Microgaming!”
