Number of esport enthusiasts projected to rise 32% by 2024

The number of global esports enthusiasts is expected to reach 285 million by 2024, an increase of 32 percent from 2020, according to Safe Betting Sites. 

The total audience size of eSports is projected to have a CAGR of 7.7% from 2019-2024, to a figure amounting to 577.2M by the end of the forecast period.

By 2021, esports revenue is projected to cross $1 billion, this is despite a slight dip in 2020 due to covid-19.
