Official opening of Treasure Island Resorts World set for Mid-December

The forthcoming YOHO Treasure Island Resorts World Hotel, situated near Nam Vam Lake, has officially confirmed its grand opening date of December 15th this year.

To ensure continued operation during China's primary travel holidays, the hotel conducted a soft opening in August, offering 500 rooms at that time.
Spanning across 8,100 square meters and requiring an overall construction investment of approximately MOP4.7 billion ($583.8 million), the Treasure Island Resort World Hotel will boast 600 rooms and rise over 70 meters, with a five-story structure.
The establishment will showcase six globally recognized brands, including Galeries Lafayette, a prominent department store chain, and UFC Gym, a renowned U.S. fitness brand. Additionally, it will house a Bona Film Group cinema but will not feature a casino.
Genting Hong Kong once held stakes in Treasure Island Entertainment Complex Limited, completing the sale of its interests in January 2021. The buyer was a company owned by local real estate businesswoman Ao Mio Leong, and the transaction amounted to HK$750 million ($96 million).
In addition to her involvement in this acquisition, Ao Mio Leong is engaged in a diverse array of business sectors, including real estate, leisure, and hospitality investments. She is notably associated with the Yoho Group, a real estate development company with a significant presence in various projects. Notably, the YOHO Group has been actively participating in the development of the Macau Roosevelt Hotel, the venue for the signing ceremony, situated on the Macau Jockey Club land plot.
