Paradise mulls assembly line in Hengqin

Paradise Entertainment Ltd wants to cut costs in its gaming machine business by building an assembly plant on Hengqin Island, according to reports. Chairman Jay Chun told Business Daily that his company has submitted a plan to the government for land in the area reserved for Macau investors. Shifting production lines from Taiwan to Hengqin could cut costs by 20 percent, Chun said.
