Police use drones to bust Wuhan gambling ring

Police in Central China’s Hubei province used drones to take down a gambling ring in Wuhan, local media reports.

A total of twelve gang members and 49 suspected gamblers were caught, with more than CNY 50,000 (US$7,844) seized in the corresponding raid on May 16, according to the Wuhan Public Security Bureau.

Police had been investigating the gambling ring, which operated in Wuhan and Xiantao, but the gang often changed its gambling location, said police.

On May 15, the police used drones to spy on a suspected gambling site and conducted intelligence to enact the raid the next day.
