RewardBet receives patent for betting software platform

Australian software company RewardBet has been granted a patent in Australia for its wagering and gaming platform, which allows punters to place bets using a ubiquitous interface and simple three-step betting process.

RewardBet is a software platform covering racing (totalisator, fixed-odds and virtual), sports multis (fixed-odds and virtual) and casino (e.g. roulette). The patented interface vastly simplifies betting and encourages more betting turnover for wagering and gaming operators.

Upon renewal fees, this provides patent protection until 2031.

“Reward Bet’s ability to dramatically increase the customer engagement, excitement and interaction as well as deliver unparalleled financial advantages to an operator are unique," Melbourne-based RewardBet inventor and co-founder Greg Conroy says.

RewardBet currently allows betting into Tabcorp subsidiary Luxbet, and has become the lowest cost of acquisition product in Australian wagering history.
