Robert Rankin becomes a Crown Resorts director

Crown Resorts Ltd announced it has appointed Robert Rankin as a director of Crown Resorts Ltd.

“The appointment of Robert Rankin as a director of Crown Resorts has become effective following receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.”

In November last year, Crown CEO James Packer persuaded Rankin, who was then-Deutsche Bank AG’s co-head of corporate banking and securities, to run his family investment firm.

“I see Rob as my partner going forward,” Packer told Bloomberg.

“I’ve known Rob for a long time. He is someone I have great faith in and great trust in.”
