Sands China declares final dividend

Macau casino operator Sands China has declared a final dividend of HK$1 (US$0.13) per share for the year ended December 31, 2015.

The announcement was made during the 2016 annual general meeting last Friday, held at The Venetian Macau.

“Despite the challenges in the Macau market, we again delivered a strong set of financial results, while meaningfully contributing to Macao’s diversification and long-term development objectives as Asia’s leading business and leisure tourism destination,” said Dr. Wong Ying Wai, the company’s president and executive director.

In a previous filing in March, the company said the dividend was likely to be paid out on June 24, 2016.
