Sands China is organizing a flight to repatriate some 130 Filipino workers stranded in Macau due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to local media reports.
No date has been set for the flight.
Last month, Melco Resorts & Entertainment also chartered a flight to take home workers and some other stranded Filipinos seeking to return.
The flight included 88 Melco employees and 56 others wanting to return due to special circumstances, such as the elderly, pregnant women and the disabled, the reports said.
Macau imposed stringent border restrictions on March 25, banning the entry of non-residents from anywhere outside of the Greater China area. Those from Hong Kong and Taiwan need to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine period.
