Savan Vegas invites buyers

The Savan Vegas resort in Savannakhet province, Laos, is looking for buyers, according to a sales agency working on behalf of the government.

The sales agents, San Marco Capital Partners, announced that it has invited interested parties to participate in a competitive sales process for the purchase of the Savan Vegas Hotel and Entertainment Complex.

“The Complex includes a full-service casino, a hotel and numerous entertainment and leisure offerings,” San Marco Capital said.

This integrated casino resort opened in 2009. It boasts a 5-star hotel entertainment complex, with 35 VIP table games, 54 mass gaming floor tables, 500 slot machines, nearly 500 luxurious rooms, live performances and a mix of food & beverage outlets from Asian to International cuisine.

The Savan Vegas was the subject of an acrimonious dispute that resulted in the government seizing control recently and appointing an interim management.
