Scott Winzeler becomes president and CEO of Sega Sammy Creation

Scott Winzeler has been promoted to the post of president and CEO of Sega Sammy Creation, effective April 1.

Winzeler joined the firm just a year ago as chairman and CEO of Sega Sammy Creation USA, and he replaces Hisao Oguchi, who led the division since it was created in June 2013.

Winzeler stated upon his promotion, “This change in organizational structure will allow us to more efficiently communicate the needs of our casino operator customers with the development team and accelerate our product development efforts.”

Winzeler spent a long period working for the firm International Game Technologies, and more recently has been a gaming industry consultant.
