Sega Sammy Creation has secured a license for the sale and distribution of gaming machines in Nevada, as of December 1.
Sega Sammy Creation said it applied for a license in Nevada in preparation to expand into North America, “in order to increase its Asia-centric business.”
During the application process, both Sega Sammy Creation and Sega Sammy USA Inc were the subject of investigation by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and no areas of concerns were noted.
Following securing the licenses in Nevada, Sega Sammy says they will be applying for inspection of their gaming machines by the relevant institutions as well as develop their sales structures.
The company said it plans to introduce their products in the financial year ending March 2019.
