Success Universe expects loss after "further decrease" in Ponte 16 profit

Success Universe announced that it expects to record a loss after tax for the six months ended 30 June 2015, compared with a year-on-year profit of HKD47.7 million ($6.15 million).

The company said this is due to a further decrease in the group’s shared profit from Ponte 16, an integrated casino resort and the company’s flagship investment. The profit warning follows an announcement in July in which the casino investor said it expected to record a significant decline in results for the first six months of 2015.

“As a result, the Group is expected to record an unaudited consolidated loss after tax for the six months ended 30 June 2015 as compared with an unaudited consolidated profit after tax for the last corresponding period.”
